The push-pull Mig 29 creation is really fascinating. Has a very Rutan feel to it.

cheers ---- have a guess at what I used for the fuselage though --

  Not a Mig 29 Fulcrum?

70% of it is a Mig 29, but the upper half of the fuselage from the front spinner to the rear spinner is actually from a Hawk, cockpit and all.  Here you can see how I arranged the radiator ducts, I needed something so that the u/c could fold away into like the original Mig 29.

here's a rear view

According to overscan, "about 1995/6, Aeroprogress showed a number of light Shturmovik style projects at airshows."

A great topic on the subject: http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,50.0.html

All interesting items. Some of those floatplanes and flying boats almost look like some of the craft from the web site "spontoon island".

I see the Hawk in that Russian build now that you mention it, and those underslung chins are either P-51 or F-82?

Wow, thats a cocktail- equal fourths of Shinden, Curtiss Wright, George Lucas and Dick Rutan....stir well. Seems to fit the Crimson Skies mold really close.
