I dunno, seems a good idea for a fast patrol boat.
There are no good kits, bad kits or grail kits, just kitbash fodder.

Could be interesting to try something similar with a Royal Aircraft Factory F.E.2 or Vickers F.B.5/9:

Pretty Battle of Britain colours anyone? I mean, this is contemporary so it must me correct, eh?

I'm guessing that CAPTAIN DANGER'S DEATH PATROL isn't a light romantic comedy, right? ;)

reminds me of the movie "the Ship that died of Shame" -- an MTB crew buy their old boat from salvage at the end of the war & start booze- & gun-running between UK & France.  Can't remember the ending exactly but the boat just gave out & sank a minute before the water police & Navy caught them. (:-((

Never mind the colours - Nazi Tri-Motor twin tails! It's like the love child of a SM.79 and a BF 110! I love it!

Also (but I can't find the one with the gorilla dangling from a rope ladder fighting a heroic airman under a zepplin...):

How about a Zero with a yellow cowling?
