As it says in the subject bar. Airfix 1/48th Hurricane MkI

Saw it in MZ today and wondered :-

a) Is it an Airfix tool or someone elses ?

b) Regardless of who's it is, is it any good ?

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Radish

In a word, "YES"....an oldie but good...raised panel lines, but if you're not too bothered, that's not a problem. I've built several and always found them easy to build with virtually none, of any, filler.

The Pegasus Hobby 1/48th Hurricane 1 is also very good.
Avoid the Pegasus Hobby 1/48th Spitfire l which is a bit short on span and has big rivets. No underwing "gull-shape" either.
Once you've visited the land of the Loonies, a return is never far away.....

It is good.  And it's Airfix own tooling.

Excellent fidelity of shape.   Simplistic by today's standards in some regards but that's largely irrelevant.
