This pic is from an Rodney model. Where can I see pics of real turrets?

Thank you in advance!

I can't find any decent pics at the moment, but I'll have another look latter

This looks awesome so far.

You also answered a question I'd been pondering about how easy it would be to make Rodney/Nelson look like a G3/N3 configuration.  IE: Not very easy as there's just not enough length to the hull even if you divide the superstructure.

Back to your conversion, I love the look of her.  There's something wonderfully Italian about the raised rear turret and the raked funnel, but the very English superstructure combined with your work on the turrets makes it a very distinctive ship!  Awesome work!!

My problem with hull's length was the flat area behind rear turret, between stern and turret. For this issue I used a profile of USS South Dakota, as pattern model. I raised Y turret also for this reason.
I ignore G3/N3 length but if it is similar to Nelson's, there should not be big problems, IMO. G3/N3 do not have stern turrets, anyway.

You are right in my italian/british inspiration. Good spot!

All the comments about torpedoes on battleships are quite correct, however an "export" customer like Spain, without much up-to-date experience, might well be seduced by the everything-and-the-kitchen-sink argument, i.e. "if we're spending THIS much money, we want everything!"

Interesting project and it's looking very good so far...

No luck I'm afraid. I'll ask a friend who's father served on Nelson

Does look good

Plenty of room on the stern for a catapult or two ?

2 catapults in sides. But the squared area in center is only covering the scars of surgery. ;D Can you help me to assign something plausible for that area? ;)

As WWII progressed she would have got more AAA, so that's possibly a good place for it ?
