Corvette Squad Car Query

Hey Guys, in the Thunderbirds Episode 'Terror in New York City' there was a Police Car that looked like it was a Corvette Stingray. what would it take to Build it as a Squad Car & would i need a Police Car model to make the Corvette into a Sqaud Car or is there Somewhere i can find the Parts Without have to Buy a Squad Car to Make the Corvette into 1? just something that Came into my head now & I thought i'd ask. there are after-market resin light bars & decals on ebay but cheapest way is probably to buy one of the old mongram or Lindberg kits & scavenge the needed bits.

BTW was that Cop Vette a standard or did it have the extended roof to a "wagon" style ?

Still waiting for the E-Type Combine-Harvester of joke fame to be done by one of the guys here.

the Cop Vette looked close to a Split Window version from 1963.if you watch the episode on youtube,You'll see what i mean.Dan

A lot of the aftermarket is pretty inexpensive but the Chevy Impala has some decent stuff in it and you can always make it as a regular car.
