So will the Airifix TSR2 be on sale tomorrow or it it wishful thinking.

My 1/48 Airfix is deliberately at the bottom of my stash as i want to get a lot more practice in first... Its one i really want to get right and ive seriously upp'ed my game lately buying my first airbrush, compressor and resin goodies/etched brass shinies.... So yeah a whole new world opening up to explore before i tackle the biggy !

You need to correct the problem with the forward fuselage as well because it tapers towards the front when the real aircraft dose not do that ! And depending on how anal you want to be, the main undercaridge is apparently at the wrong angle as well

Seemingly not, but it will be available in UK next month. An Airfix guy confirmed that it will be a complete 1/72 scale TSR2, plus the extra Stratos bits. 

When someone next to me said about their HMS Invincible that what it really needed was a 1/350 Type 45 to escort it, the Airfix guy smiled and said 'Watch this space..........'

While i know about the odd inacuracies with the kit i wont be going THAT crazy... I'll never be good enough to change the shape of the forward fuselage so it'll have the stay the way it is... As a "what if" im not sure it matters... as for the undercarridge while i would have had a crack at that, no-one seems to be able to agree on the "correct" splay... mainly due to the two surviving examples being different anyway so that'll most likely stay the same too... Although i am tempted by the Czech Master undercarridge set....   

Anyone know what splay that set is too ? Is it the same as the kit ?

It  really does set a new standard for aviation books on specific aircraft programs doesn't it  , But thats the result of 6 years concerted work coupled with a lifelong interest in the subject.

You would have loved last Saturday on the Project Cancelled website, as Damien came over to say hello, and we then introduced him to Tony Buttler, Chris Gibson, Paul Lucas along with the forum crewe. The funny part was when some asked what the next subject was going to be
