I suggested it purely as a means of gauging poularity, it's the main thing we can help on, although we might be able to give pointers for source material & such.   A poll would also only be a guage of this forum, we're more aware of the obscure projects than then the rest of the modelling fraternity.  The rest of the work, Colin is largely going to have do himself.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Hi I am usually just a "lurker" on this site but I love the Freightdog 1154 so I would like the following suggestions to be considered, I know some have already been suggested.
Hawker 1154 RN
Two-seat French army gunship version of the Westland Lynx
BAe P96 Fighter
BAe ACA
BAe P112
BAe P115
BAe 1216
BAe Replica
BAC 583
BAC 584
BAC P45
Hawker Siddeley 1173
Conversion set for Jaguar to projected Big Wing versions in late 70s early 80s

Big Wing Jag is a good suggestion, I'll throw in a Jaguar M conversion, possibly a real world IM conversion?
NA-349 conversion for Vigilante

Scaleworks do a Jaguar IM nose that can be found on ebay, but a Jaguar M would be nice.
The big wing harriers would also be nice but would need to use the Italeri kit as a basis as the Airfix one is a bit of a dog. To be honest we could do with Airfix using their FRS-1 kits as a basis for the GR1/3 RAF versions and replace their rather dated kit.

How about a conversion to make an "accurate" F-111B Production aircraft?

To convert the Hasegawa FB-111A the necessary parts would be.....
Forward fuselage sides with the raised cockpit area.
Separate radome for those that want to show it folded up for stowage.
   Clear vac-form/resin Canopy.
Wing Pylons for carriage of the Phoenix Missile.
Nose undercarriage leg and associated items.
   Smaller Main Wheels.
   Tail Hook and fairing.
If you want to "go to town" you could do accurate intakes as well.

I think that's all that would be needed and am willing to be proved wrong.

It fits the size requirements, would be popular and would consist of simple items that are direct replacements of the donor kit's parts.

Hello chaps. After a period of consideration, thanks to your participation I think I have narrowed down the project to two very different subjects, both of which I hope to produce, but only one in time for Telford.

I thank you for all your suggestions, project three, four and five will most likely have got a few mentions in the last seven pages to!

I am not going to elaborate of what is going ahead yet, as its a long way from now to getting a finished product, and I don't want to built hopes, dissapoint or inform the competition too early!

Glad we could be of service and hopefully you'll let the forum know as & when the selected choices are nearlly ready for release.

We know these are commercial projects and therefore have to stay under wraps till your ready to reveal them, but good luck with these projects and we look forward for you formal annoucement of the first of them.

Cheers

Something to look forwrd to  ;D Best of luck Colin
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Colin,
Looking forward to see which you picked.

You are going to offer everyone who suggested the first two choices a half off discount, right?

I was thinking free, plus £50 p+p of course.... ;D

i know this is a bit late but i now find i need a AgustaWestland AW159 Lynx Wildcat for a "small" project i have started and as far as i know nobody is even looking at making this new aircraft for the royal navy and RAF and army
Me, I'm dishonest, and you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest.
Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for!!!

Hi

I know it is too late now but another suggestion I thought of would be a two seat trainer version of the P1154RAF as a complement to the existing one and probably easier to arrange than a P1154RN (though I would like one!)

Thank you
Alan
