Fairey Auk

The British having pioneered the technique of dive bombing soon develop specialist aircraft one of these was the Fairey Auk developed to meet  Air Ministry specification O.27/34. The Auk had surprising slow-speed capabilities the plane would be able to land almost vertically on an aircraft carrier. The Auk's armament the aircraft's armament was four fixed, forward-firing 0.303 in (7.7 mm) Browning machine guns in the wings and a dual  flexible, rearward-firing .303 in (7.7 mm) machine gun.

This when assembled looked strangely familar I'm not sure if it's due to it's Stuka heritage or that it actually ressembles a RL aircraft I've seen

Very cool ! You gotta change that prop, tho....it's way to Stuka with that prop.

Brilliant and well executed! Can't wait to see it all painted and decaled. 

But...

In real life that aircraft is so ugly it should be a Blackburn project instead of Fairey.

That must be it they do look spookily similar maybe.  I'll do a straight winged version to be an Erstatz Fiesler development
