Hi folks,

Does anyone know if you can get the JV 44 "Papagei Staffel" markings (see below) in 1/48 scale?

Hannants have an Eaglecal in stock. No picture available on site though

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Doh!!  Forgot about them - might  just order directly from Eagle-Editions.

For a Dora? Or for something else?

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Personally, I think JV 44 markings would look very fashionable on a Draken or Mirage III, but that's just my opinion.

How about a commemorative Luftwaffe typhoon?
If you love, love without reservation; If you fight, fight without fear - THAT is the way of the warrior

Maybe - I'll give you a hint:  it's still WWII Luftwaffe, but not a Fw-190.

Greg,
Thats an older EagleCal sheet and some of the information in the painting guide is incorrect about the colors used on the JV 44 Doras, also the illustration showing the D-11 as having an early style flat canopy is wrong, all production Fw 190D-11s were fitted with the late ''blown'' canopy.

BTW, are you thinking of using the decals on some Ta 183s? I hope so!!!
