Well, there was a naval interceptor version that made it to prototype, the F-111B.  Carlos has scalorama'd a 1/144 to 1/72 though, making it about 11m, a similiar size to early jets.

Not exactly, there is a plug-in in cockpit area (3 cm long approx) that makes this YF-115 closer to F-5, which means almost 14 m (F-5 length is 14.45).

Speaking about scheme: I DO love that air superiority blue. :wub:

Great model Carlos, you've got my vote mate! Looks really good in that YF-16 scheme. Wanted to to do my prototype YF-16 kit in that scheme when I was little but getting a good White base coat terrified me back then!
