Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Gentlemen, might I respectfully suggest that you keep these thoughts to yourselves...... I've known Cap'n Radish for more years than I care to count and the last thing he needs is more inspiriation and/or suggestions for outfits..... Trust me

Actually babies....I bought some blue feathers recently, and looked resplendant in a gold and royal blue corset at Bristol on Saturday night. The blue feathers were to decorate the fascinator...but I'm thinking of adding even more to my wellies?

Meanwhile, there's so many options.
I'm possibly doing another Sponsored Model on Wednesday (plastic, of course!) at Mid's school, but whether I do or not, Wednesday seems a perfect opportunity to make a 1/72nd HobbyBoss F-86F, and start on a Revell 1/48th Bf-109K. I have schemes, decals "sorted" already....and taking advice from Narses, I'm looking to fiddle about with the camera so that I can post direct images on here....at the moment the sizes are too big.

Wonderful time.

Lurched into the loft this morning, with advice from grandaughter...."Be careful, grandad!"...and couldn't locate any of the Bf-109G/Ks up there.
Did locate a HobbyBoss F-86F and an Italeri 1/72nd F4U-7/AU-1 which naturally has French Navy markings for the -7 (USMC for the AU-1)...and as the box had been opened, I'll build the AU-1 option. A nice kit, although the nose isn't long enough. I might saw off the cowling and add a bit more nose...perhaps even more than's required?
Anyway, it'll be in Cream and Chocolate, dirty, dusty and extremely loaded!!
For the F-86F, I could lurch towards one used in the Korean War with FAF roundels replacing the USAF markings, or I could do the late camo colours of the SM2 as used in France. Time to decide on that when I've looked in the decal box. Of course, some French SM2s had a very light "Israeli-type" colouring which could look attractive.

And, I'm still pondering other alternatives...but I'll start the Corsair this morning....

Got the bulk of the main assembly together....a quick rub down tomorrow, and then build the rest. The Italeri Corsair is a dream.
AU-1, French Navy colours....cream and chocolate uppersurfaces. ;D

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

Actually, I've given the seams a quick polish and it's fine. If the natural light was better i'd get on with it now, but it's grey, miserable and cloudy.

I'll think about a rub down later though

And GOOD NEWS....I've booked us in for Rocky in Manchester for November 20th.

Ah, thats what I love about England, the language is so much less mutable...I think "bitch" has gone through
at least three variant spellings in the last decade. Does your troupe record their performances, Radish?
