Micro Kristal Klear is what I've used up to now, I just find that it's not strong enough for my ham-fistedness.  The Clearfix seemed to be holding up reasonably well when I was applying the masking last night.  I did hear a couple of slightly unsettling creaks, :o but it the canopy didn't lift <_<.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I'm hamfisted, so I put the canopies in place, after they have been given a coat of Klear, then run more Klear around the edges with a brush. takes a while to dry, but gives an invisible joint.
Life's too short to apply all the stencils

Nigel,
That Future/Kleer tip is a good one--I used it last night to attach the front windscreen to the fus of my 109 wooden wonder. There is a noticable gap between the front part of the canopy and the fus, so I think I will use white glue to fill it in.
The back one will be next.
I'm a fan of white glue for canopies--I place some small drops on the coaming and then use a toothpick to link them all together and then gently lower the canopy into position. My new, additional technique is to use a small brush to apply some of the Australian version of Future on the seam between the canopy and the coaming.

I find white glue is very good for filling gaps between canopy and coaming.

I do a similar thing Nigel. After the canopy is in place I "paint" the entire canopy (already dipped in Klear) and join with Klear. Gives a good join.

Gaps I try and fix with Clearfix

How can I thin Kristal Klear:
water?
ethanol?
isopropilic alcohol?
Will die without understanding this world.

Mossie

It's PVA, water can be used to thin it.

Clearfix worked on the TA-7C, didn't fog it & the parts didn't budge.  Pass!
