Presumably that link's for the forward swept wing version?

It's very impressive but I'm not surprised he mounted it on a stand, 'cos I can't figure out where the landing gear would have gone.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

hmm looks like one of Glyn's models. One of the Brampton Massive (IPMS Brampton) and serving RAF engineering officer

Link is just underneath the picture! It points to the Airfix Tribute forum. The modeler goes by the name "theplasticsurgeon".

I stand corrected, thats Tim Mansfield. Hes done a few Lightning whiffs, USAF And Royal Navy Swing wing come to mind.
