Excellent ideas, but in fact no: my Flitzer will be from a totally imaginary airforce...

First paint: Tamiya Dark Earth

Draken35

The Dark Earth (Tamiya XF-52) is masked, then Green is applied (XF-67)

...Next step: masking + Dark Green (XF-61)

Thanks, Tophe!

So, masking tape again, and after that: Dark Green

...And the masks are removed. Some minor corrections, essentially due to Eduard masks that were bothering to remove... The guns are painted in Gun Metal

OK, next step will be a clear varnish...

Draken35

I've sprayed Pébéo varnish then I've applied the decals.

Yes, it's my avatar, but not only...

The Belgians and Frenchs on this forum will find the answer I think...

My Flitzer is an aircraft of the Fuerza Aerea Palombiana! Palombia is an imaginary country, created by Franquin for the comic serie "Spirou et Fantasio"...

You know, I'm (autoproclamed) colonel of that Airforce  :tornado:

I'm glad to meet you here, dear colleague  ;D

Today I finished to apply the decals.
For the ejection traps, Revell gived some little black rectangle decals... That are just good enough for me.

I don't have applied all the decals of the sheet, just the ones that were appealing me

I like that Flitzer...

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Draken35

Thank you!!!

I've applied clear cote for a second time on the kit, then a wash with "Wash Brown" from Abteilung 501.

Next time: matt varnish...

what is your "brown wash" - it leaves a nice effect - is it a thin dye which you run into the panel lines or a heavy sort of paste which you wipe on - let dry - and wipe off

cheers dumaniac

Wash Brown is an oil paint; I have to dilute that paint with turpentine or lighter gasoline to make it extremely fluid.
