The pics:
I think that some navy buffs here will recognize underwing gun installation
Note IR headlight

Here IR visor can be seen.
Wing tip rails will carry a kind of cool wire guided missiles. An air to ground Ruhrstahl X-7 equivalent.

Very very nice.

Can I ask what `battleship` is missing a turret or two? ;D

Thanks!

Huh? What? How did this get here?
So this is a ground attacker? Thought it'd be an air-to-air night fighter. But a ground attacker with that "cutting edge" IR stuff, that's just inspired!

If I recall correctly, the Nachtschlachtgruppen had some really cool camo schemes.

Do you have info about those camo schemes?

I found two cool builds of the Fiat CR.42 as used by the Nachtschlachtgruppen: CLICKY #1 and CLICKY #2. Especially the first one shows the painting of the camo rather nicely.

The NSGr also used the Fw 190F and G, but I wasn't able to find decent pics online. From what I remember from a book, I think they used a pretty dark camo of greys (and maybe black?), with light grey squiggly lines.

As she was intended to be deployed with Panzers ... ;D
BTW the red strip marks she as IR equipped ;D

Please note the IR reflector and visor.
Note antitank missiles too, body made of aluminium and wings of wood.
I envisage she as deployed in the outskirts of Vienna in 1946 ready to attack IS-2 and IS-3. What do you think?

I think this is about 50 different kinds of awesome! The missile and gun armament, the topside "panzer" camo, the black undersides, the IR system,....
