Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

What about a winter splinter camo scheme?!  Russian, Swedish, Swiss, Finnish, Norwegian?  Just some ideas.

I'll echo Rat's choice as well.  That backstory has so much potential  ;D

Spanish Civil War Republican. They had some 2-seat Grummans and apparently tried to get hold of some single-seaters, so it could be a real JMN-baiter.

The "Handbag War" has potential, but don't forget the sequins if you're doing a pink one. Not a lot of scope for weathering either....

I vote for:

Greek 1941
Vichy France in Indo-China
Tasmanian War of Independence
The War of Sylvia's Stockings

Go Anachronistic:
South East Asia
Alaskan Aggressor
USAF "Peanut"
Flanker Splinter

Of course, keep the cowling ring a single color so that the JMN's brains don't completely melt down (it is so hard to clean up without a wet/dry vaccuum cleaner).

Could be both - re-write the history so that McClelland Barclay was a relative of the bankers, leading them to sponsor a warbird for a season covering some anniversary or other..... ;D
