I've applied for a show stand this year. I'm planning to show mainly What-if and Project Cancelled subjects, with a real project or two thrown in (you didn't think I was going to leave the Sentinel out, did you?). Other forum members are welcome, of course.

edit: the application has been accepted, so we're good to go.

Looking forward to meeting you.

I've got 2 meters worth of tables, so plenty of space if you want to show some models...

Flyboy69

I will be there as well.
If I still have some room in my car than I will bring some models with me.

Finally out of the closet!!!!!!!

TomZ

Hobbes,

Do you still plan on going? Want me to bring some models too?
I've got some new Me-109 What-ifs to bring if you want.

Sure, bring what you like. I won't be able to fill the tables on my own, anyway. Prototypes, research aircraft etc. are welcome too.

Hobbes got us a table and we both displayed some of our models.
We had a very nice day with quite some interest for the What-Ifs we brought.

Nice to another cell of the International Whif clan get on the show circuit  ;D.

Nice little display form the pair of you, how did the regulars and the public take to the concept ?

Well done lads

Thanks Tom for publishing the pics so soon.

We've had a few nice conversations, maybe 10 cards with the address of this forum were taken home. One or two were enthusiastic enough that they may start building what-ifs.
One punter mumbled 'that's a shame', presumably at the sight of the TSR.2 (which several people remarked was impossible to get, even when it'd just come out).

All in all, the amount of response was a bit less than I'd hoped. Early on, many people just barged on by without even looking, on their way to the traders.

Still, I enjoyed the day, and I think I'll do it again next year.

nice pics, i like the Bordurian Bf109 with the 2-bladed prop, that a double whif, as the original Bordurian 109's had the 3-bladed prop from the 109G  ;D

Yes but if you look at the nose of the Bordurian 109, it's a B or C type nose, but it had a three bladed propeller and rounded wing tips.

sorry for being a dummy - but what is the 109? with a 4 bladed prop on the right side of the table - looks interesting

That's a K-14. The K-14 was designed in 1945, featuring a DB605L engine and a four bladed propeller. Some sources claim that two have have been built before the end of the war, other sources say it was project only.
