Ive got the unicraft kit of this one on the bench.

And it would be an understatement to say that it isnt one of Igor's best efforts.

How hard was it to build? The model looks pretty good I think.

With its under slung engine, in my mind it would have offered more scope for upgrading.

its a pig of a kit to put together, don't know how many times it took to get the wings right as the beds on the fuselage on my example were not level. The canopy doesn't fit as the hole that the kit came with that is supposed to be the cockpit is in fact wider than the canopy or the solid version that's also supplied.
my example came from fantastic plastic in the us and in my mind it put me off getting any more unicraft kits for a while

The Wooksta!

You have to be a wealthy fool to buy Unicraft and a masochist to build them.

Agreed Lee, but the box art sucks me in every time  :banghead: :banghead:
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I like it. Its beautiful in an ugly kinda way  ;D

I looked at the diagram on page 10 in Bill Gunston's book Harrier. It is attractive in an ugly sort of way.

When you look at the box art on the website, you hesitate to cast judgement. So, where's the smiley for I can't make up my mind?

Anyone else more or less decided on the subject? I don't want to quibble but I just cannot make a hard and fast decision.

How could I not be roped in?

1.  It's damned ugly, too ugly for Sydney Camm.  He didn't want it built, so it wasn't.  That's good enough reason for me.

2.  I've been suckered far too many times by Unicraft, with his lure of projects that no one else does (specifically Blohm und Voss) and slick box art.  Handing over a large wadge of cash at top end Czechmaster prices for ill cast, badly fitting lumps of horrible resin.  I can mould and cast my own stuff and my professional pride wouldn't allow me to even give away bits of the quality that Igor is charging CMR prices for.  AVOID!!!
