Succumbed to the Fennek.  Lovely little kit.  I was never tempted at the original £10 asking price, but if there's still a some at £3 when I next go in I might grab a couple more.

Sunderland branch have the Airfix Swordfish/Spitfire V "Channel Dash" boxing at £9.99, down from £19.99. Seems like a good deal ?

Loads more stock added to the sale in my local MZ.....mostly revell...I relieved them of two 1/72 Me262 night fighters for £1.75 each......was tempted by the Arado E555 jet bomber thingy....that was cheap as well....

So in other words 'buy em whilst you can' if you have a taste for them as thats Revell clearings it warehouse so these kits are not going to be in production for some time - especially the Arado 555 as thats a whiffer favourite and prices will double again once they are gone

Bugger - went to Trafford Centre MZ straight from work tonight, only to find it closed because they're in the middle of moving from one unit to another.....   Open again tomorrow morning, but I have to do other stuff then.

The Trafford Centre MZ has now finished moving. It's easy to find: it's almost opposite it's old location (near Debenhams), but on the ground floor instead of the first floor. The new unit is slightly smaller in square footage, but it's a plain rectangle instead of the awkward stepped tapering shape of the old one, and the staff seem pretty pleased with it. I didn't notice any particular reduction in range.

Got a couple of Ar.555s from there, and a couple each of M16s and HMS Tigers from the Deansgate branch. I didn't notice the Tigers on the website, but they're down to £5.99, which makes them very worth having as project-fodder, given the unique guns on them.

I had a long, hard look at the Routemaster Bus for £20, with a view to making a James Bond version with the 1/24th Little Nellie stowed on the top deck, but it's vast, I'm short of space, and I'll probably never get round to doing it anyway, so I resisted the temptation.

There are quite a few Ar.555s left in both branches: if anyone wants one picking up (or anything else for that matter, just give me a shout.
