Modelzone sale

Went in the Manchester city centre Modelzone today, and was told that the 3-for-2 offer applied to ALL the stock, not just Airfix and Revell. Theoretically, you could have got all three new Revell Battlestar Galactica kits and ended up paying just £13 each for them (and don't think I didn't consider it).

Last day in Croydon and I finally succumbed - 3 Airfix 1/72 Hurricane IIC's for £9.98

App the new sale gonna start on 7th Jan.....plenty of Revell stuff in it so I'm told....a 1/72 Blackhawk, 1/48 sundowners/aggressor F5E, some tanks.....couldn't see much else.....

Into my localMZ today n gotta say, bit dissapointed.....the best bargain I could find was the Revell 1/32 Ju88 down from £40 (which I think is still very reasonable.....) to £24..! Bargain...but not my scale.....was looking for a cheap Airfix Yak 1/3/9 can't remember which one but the potent WWII dogfighter they do....or a cheap La7...to go partner with a project I got going at mo.....

True, but then an awful lot of the stuff in the on-line sale is actually out of stock. If you display all the kits at 32 per page, the in-stock ones run out on page 4 of 16........

That's still over a hundred kits on offer.  You might find something online that wasn't in stock at your local shop.  Also, some shops may also have stock of things that have sold out online, if you're lucky.

I've been to the one in Croydon, they never have the kit I want in stock.

If you ask at the desk, they can often get things in for you.

Went into Plymouth branch, he other day, that could have got expensive lol only walked out with italiari M163 Vulcan £3:99 thought of getting two and mounting the turrets on a centurion hull (Israeli lebenon), was tempted by the airix valiants for £24:99 but stayed strong
