I spent some time up in The Loft last night, digging some stuff out for The Wooksta, and realised that there is NO way I'll ever build even a 10th of the stuff I have up there.  :banghead:

Discussions with Mrs. PR19, always a fan of my 'Spoof Modelling' (goodness knows why...) resulted in the plan that we'll keep the stuff that I can a) build Whiffs out of b) make pretty airliners from, with the zillions of airliner decal sets I have or c) make historically significant RW models from, a FICON GRB-36 being the largest of these!

The rest will be for sale, and over the next few months I'll post various lists on this thread for your joint consideration. I'll be OK with posting abroad, although it may cost a bit, and I have a PayPal account for that purpose, so watch this space.....
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Having seen the marvels that have emerged from this stash of yours, I wait with bated breath.

I take it the list will appear on this thread?  Duh, should have read the first post properly!

It would be handy to be able to pre-order in advance of, and collect at, Telford.  If so, I'll start saving up my pocket money right now!

One thing I forgot in the opening post is that I have a large collection of 1/24-25th scale car kits, mostly American stuff course, with the emphasis on Muscle Cars.

Do we have enough members interested in this field on here for me to list the car stuff as well?

Folding or heavy money is always acceptable Mr Penguin sir.  ;D

I forgot to mention that the vast majority of this lot is 1/72 scale, usually military and post 1939. The airliner stuff is all 1/144 with few exceptions.

I do have the odd 1/48 scale kit, like an Airfix Tornado F3 minus its Hindenburger tanks for instance, and a few 1/48 scale conversions bought when I didn't have my glasses with me.....

Done that a few times and I wear glasses all the time  :banghead:
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

1/48 is what i like to build, so im still happy penguin, and i think ill just nod sagely with Narses comment.

Not as bad as buying a 1/288th AN-72 from the states, thinking you were getting a bargain 1/72nd one - hypothetically speaking, of course......;) :banghead:

Kit - I shall watch with interest.......

I think so, yes. My Spitfire Box is BULGING with stuff, far more than I'll ever need.

You can NEVER have enough Spitfire bits!

I discovered that earlier today.  Tried a smash cast of a Coffman starter (Playdoh & resin) with awful results - which is why I never use that method.  Casting other bits& dug out a Spitfire mould I never used and loand behold, Coffman starter.  This is AFTER I'd cobbled something together.  Moral - check your moulds!
