Weapons Pylon Location

Hi All this is my first post so please be gentle

I am trying to find a drawing/photo of the locations of the undering weapons pylons on the TSR2 can some one point me in the right direction??

If you've got the airfix kit, look on the wing undersurface.  There are two sets of tiny circles close to the leading edge and that's where the pylons were to go.

SAMI did a few sets a while back, the large pylon comes in the 'Blue Water' set, the smaller one is in a set of four plus bombs.  It doesn't look like SAMI is offering any resin sets now though, can't find anything on their website.

Change in management or something like that has meant that they are nor going to re release their TSR2 stuff, which is a pity as I am starting to build my kits now

I had thought the parts were done by Paragon because the casting material and style of moulding is very similar, but I've been told The Aviaton Workshop actually did them.  Maybe a call to them could perhaps get them to knock out some more.

No, they were all done by Paul Lucas, who left with Neil when he left MAM.

Paul Lucas has redone them in 1/48th scale for the Aviation Workshop and are available from their website, but the 1/72nd items have not been re-done (as yet !)

Thanks for your help chaps the kit I am using is the heritage aviation one in1/72 scale

The pylon attachment points are also on the Heritage kit.  It was measured from the one at Cosford.

Hm, I think I have one of those too, under it's original Arba name, is that right?

If Paul retains the rights to the 1/72 pylons perhaps we should picket him at Telford.....  

And who does the Blue Water in 1/72? That's one AWESOME missile, can't imagine why the RAF never took it on. Perhaps it wouldn't fit under a Tonka.

The Heritage kit has a long and tortuous history, too long for me to go into now but I can gurantee that it was never issued by ARBA.  Their kit was entirely different.
