Model Aviation World Closing

I got a letter from Traplet Publications yesterday telling me that Model Aviation World is ceasing publication after the November issue. It only started last November and was a spin off from Military in Scale, which used to be 3/4 armour : 1/4 aviation. Now guess what ? It's going back in with MIS which will now split 50/50 armour/aviation.

Not a problem as I was thinking of dropping my subscription anyway (they did a good deal at Telford) as I think the mag was a bit elitiste for my tastes. But a sign of the times perhaps ? To many magazines in the market place ? And what happens when Airfix Magazine launches in November, especially as they will have Key Publications behind them. Airfix TV ads anybody
