According to S&M's news pages, both their MUSTARD shuttle and their FV432 will be at Telford. Given that I also want their Wasp, which is due for the show too, Telford is already looking very expensive...

Please tell me the FV432's top hatch is moulded as a separate item, please, please, please.......

I hope they still have some Stalwarts in stock at Telford, I need to replace the one I bought last year that was subsequently stolen off our stand!  :banghead: :banghead:

GOT to get a Wasp too though.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

The CAD images don't appear to show the doors as a separate part as yet as the tops is all one colour, however the breakdown of the parts and onto the sprue is a different matter and we'll just have to wait and see if we get to see the test sprues when they appear.

Note that the FV.432 is being listed as 1/72nd as opposed to 1/76th which the Stalwart was created as.

Would really like to see some progress on the Wasp/Scout kit as were now in August and November is only 3 months off, looking at the planned releases I can see some of these easily slipping into 2019.

Where/when did that happen Kit ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I bought the kit on the Sunday and it was sitting on a chair behind the stand waiting for me to put it in my bag or bought stuff. When I got back to the stand it had vanished, and I looked all over after we'd packed up and it wasn't to be seen. No-one had noticed it 'vanishing' either.  :banghead:

That's a B' Kit, I wasn't aware.

There was a fair amount of pilferage at SMW apparently, including from the competition I think  :banghead:

If they don't put a stop to that then it'll kill the competition as no-one is going to risk having a build pinched.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

They are asking for more volunteers this year to keep an eye on the competition area in particular. I've done it once, with Aircav, but back then it was just your friendly local copper telling the odd small child to keep their fingers away. Bit more serious now, sad.

Yet another Telford release from S&M, this time RAF Tristars:

Damn!  wrong scale ----

PR19_Kit

That'll be a LOT of plastic, even in 1/144, and not cheap either I'll bet.

Aircraft in Miniature had announced that a 1/72 Tristar was in the works, but any of these announcements seemed to have been dropped from their website now. I can't find any reference to it at all ---

They're estimating about £40

They've put up sprue shots of the FV 432 and, dammit, they HAVN'T moulded the roof hatch seperately... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
