S&M models (they mainly do decals, but issued a 1/144 viscount in 1/144 scale and reissued it as Tay testbed)

These guys are releasing a couple of Swiss Projects the N-20 and the P-16 in 1/72 as resin kits. Not sure if thses are the former Dujin kits but nice to see them being released.

Cool  .

The Swiss have had a lot of interesting gear that tends to get ignored, while Swedish (equally neutral and out of combat for the modern period) stuff gets loads of attention. I'd like to see kits of the Pz-61 and Pz.68 tanks, but I'm not holding my breath.

Someone really needs to explain to them that a name like "S & M Models" will get people looking at them for all the wrong reasons.....:)

In a very recent issue of Air-Britain Aeromilitaria (Summer 2010), there's a article about the N-20.  Apparently it never got off the ground even though it was doing 'fast-taxi' runs just before it was cancelled but the prototype still does survive.

According to Mel (the 'M' in S&M!) the masters for the N-20 and P-16 are being done by Alan Southcombe, who did the EAP for me, so will be very good! No connection to Dujin ones.

Their 1/72 scale sheet on the T-2D Buckeye with Venezuelan markings, has errors in it.  The planes at the time already sported roundels and bars instead of just roundels.  However their painting guide for that particular aircraft is excellent.

Wish they'd done them in styrene like the Viscount.

I was *very* tempted with one at Telford but then the reality of the £50 price tag and the fact that it's 144th kicked in.

And also that my own scratched 72nd one has stalled for the past three years didn't help either.

Nice. Just a pity that you can't get a base VC10 kit to convert. Try finding an Airfix one.
