Here is something that is quite unusual for the Honduras air force, firstly it has a piston engine in it, and it doesn't have weapons hanging off it.
The aircraft was bought along with several others and lots of spares from Sweden, and from a private source in the UK, the engines however were sourced in the USA, and also the propellers. The original 2 bladed prop just didn't do the new more powerful engine any justice so a new one was designed and built especially for the aircraft. This is number 6 of 8 basic trainer Bulldogs, all of which have been rebuilt with new avionics engines and props. Two other aircraft have also been converted, and these are used as Liaison and "mail Bags".
The kit is the old Airfix one, and despite stuffing the nose cavity full of lead, it still sits on its tail  :banghead: well nothing new there then

Cheers,
Chris.

Looks good!

Thanks for the tip about the tail-sitting, I'll have to glue mine to a base of some sort.
