Okay, so we can build last year's presents in this year's GB (X-Mas till Easter) and won't have hang our head in shame?
 Count me in, then. Still have a lovely 1/72 Hunter F.6 to build that I got from Amphion (  ). Me thinks it'll be an Italian Hunter.

I still got your Typhoon half-built on the desk as well. If it's Ok I'll want to try to "get 'er dune" for this year's SSGB (i.e. no exchange of gifts).

No worries Amphion old chap. I shall add you to the non-sending participant list.

My sinister calculations indicate a mere six days left to join up gentlemen!
I still await addresses from some of you, and I still await the rest of the forum membership joining in.
You know you want to.

Oh singluar army; kindly send unto me a PM indicating your correct name and address. Sending a box makred 'army of one, UK' will porbably not work.

Oh and BTW guys, the real name is important. DF once bought some car or bike part from a chap on a forum, but forgot to give his name. The address read 'Dan Frog' and he wasn't at home to accept it, so I had to ride my pushbike to the post office and collect it for him. Fortunately they didn't ask for ID or anything, because it'd have been very hard explaining that 'Dan Frog' was 'Da Frog', and it was a screen name for a bloke called Nik.

I now have all addresses and real names for all those who have indicated a desire to partake. I've also got a draft version of the exchange, so if no one else enters, and I don't change my mind and try to finese things (mostly to save people postage money!) I'll be able to let people know who they are sending to on the 1st. Of nessecity there are people sending internationally, but I've tried to keep that to a minimum.

This is the latest participant list - please let me know if I've f*%$ed up.

Present sending participants:
Herr Doktor Pundinsch Von Wrestlier
Sir Proditor; a gentleman of the colonies
AeroplaneDriver; an aviator of some repute
The count De Slerski; a sinister european nobleman
TheDarkMaster; master of darkness and sire of pink princesses
Sotoolslinger, sinister texan desperado
His beared emminence, Ed S
His centeniary brilliance, Lenny100
Mr. D. Frog; steampunk renovationist
The very latest in military efficiency; the Army Of One
Captain Canada, living proof that I forget to include people who signed up ages ago.

Participants building last year's presents
Lord PhilP; he-who-brings-forth-the-whiffies
That noted arsonist, Pyro-Maniac
General ChernayaAkula of the general staff
That sinister swede, Amphion and his trained viking mice.

Hehe, you never know though. I did once get a letter addressed to 'The Tilting Train Man, Lydney. UK' and that got to me just fine!  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The deadline for entry is very soon earthletts!

PR19, there's a legendary story in postage and obscure radio comedy. Back in the 1930s, Australia's most succesful radio comedy was a show called 'Yes, what?' which featured a rather eccentric schoolboy by the name of Greenbottle (no relation to Bluebottle on the Goonshow; he actually was a fly in his first appearance. Really.) Anyways, the show was exported all over the place and has the rather impressive record of having never been off the air since it was always being played somewhere in the world. Anyways, somewhere in the 1990s, a letter was written. It's address read 'Greenbottle, Australia'. Only took Australia post a week or so after it arrived in the country to get it to the right man.
But let's not make things hard on the posties, eh?

Entries have now closed and I am about to send people the names and addresses to dispatch gifts beyond the dreams of avarice to.

puddingwrestler

Personal messages have been dispatched.

If you are sending a gift, I recommend wrapping it in wrapping paper INSIDE the box you send it in.This way the recipient can open the box, and say 'Oh, it's my SSGB pressie and not a suspicious package wrapped in brown paper which will explode after all!' without finding out what you sent them. Don't open your packages until Christmas day, and you can start building as soon as they are open. As usual, the deadline is easter.

I'm trying to monitor how things are going, so if you chaps would post here when your gifts arrive, that'd be a great help.
I know I've sent mine and DF, Proditor and Sotoolslinger have sent thiers, dunno if anything has arrived yet.
Remember, no openage till critmoose!
The of course, you must post pics of your loot! loot I say!

Slerski

Shame on me... It seems that with all the snow seen in Paris (such a panic for 5 centimeters, I think our Canadian or Russian friends might laugh) my present will be horrible late... Package deliveries are very very late, I'll try to do my best to sent my present for Xmas. But I'm not quite optimistic. I hope that you would not blame me for the delays.
