Here is my almost finished Curtiss F-40M/DB (Daimer Benz) the Brazilian Air Force.
The model was not planned as What if.
That, however, were problems with the build, i built it to  ;D

That looks really good! It's amazing what a difference the pointed spinner makes to the DB engine.

Is difficult to imagine under what circunstances a country can do that with a Curtiss, but the finished model, looks great, and I am sure the engine is better than the original in high altitude. Is really curious and unusual, good work :thumbsup: :cheers: :bow:

Only the spinner is original Curtiss , the prop is from the 109!

The bug has been borrowed from a Revell Bf 109 G-10.  This model was not planned What if!
But the Italeri kit was in the bow area as bad as what I had to change!
