don't know about the plastic wing bit, Jim ... but the hand is from "grow your own Human" kit by Biometrics Corporation of Alpha Centuri Gamma

Is that one part Jim, or do have two of them resting on top of each other?

If it's one, it has a VERY weird attachment tongue for sure.

Oh yes, that looks a bit like a Ryan Fireball on the cutting mat in the background too.  ;)

It's a tailplane from the Minicraft 1/144th scale C-130 Hercules kit.

Kit
It is one part, and yes it does have a weird joining bit.

In the background is my Pegasus GB XP-40Q.

I asked the question because the new Fin/Rudder was created from the other matching part.

Paul

Thank you. Spot on.  I do remember the kit now, I made an absolute BoIIocks of it and binned most. I had just forgotten.

Alistair,

Not a snowballs hope in HeII:)

Cheers guys,

Jim

Ah Minicraft, that explains everything!  ;D

They never were, or are, a firm that made logical ways of connecting parts together, like 757 engines that had no exact location anywhere on the wings, you could glue them on anywhere they fitted....

I think they've changed the moulds for the later ones, I have a VC version (can't remember the desig.) and that has proper places to sit them down, spoilsports!
