Maybe a jump into the future, battered Ethiopian PAK-FA's in fifty or sixty years time as Russia are bringing their TIE Fighters (???) online, Senegal taking old Rafales maybe?
Or maybe Ethiopian TIE fighters when Russia gets TIE Interceptors .

On a different note, I am starting to get some ideas concerning an alternate history involving a island similar in size & shape to Madagascar(Another hint, it would involve a fictional country called Benedesia).

Alaska bush planes are very cool IMHO so I'm hoping to convert a Lublin R.XIII into a desert bush machine repleat with Desert  ''Tundra'' tires, STOL wing, and some metalizing.    Let's see what happens when knife hits styrene.

A man after my own heart!

Anyway, does anyone know where I can get some 1/48 Ethiopian Roundels/Markings - preferably similar to the Ethiopian B-17s.

Model Alliance do a set with the six pointed star for the Canberra:

You can get several sets with the more modern five pointed star, including the Zotz ones Alun mentioned.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Agreed! Gotta have profiles! Might even get Gekko to add a few more to an already big African universe

i found some Angolan and Libyan AF roundels in the sparesbox, i think these would look good on a MIG-37 or Hawk T.1
