You know, if you cleaned it up a bit you might be able to make a decent passenger jet out of a Nimrod as well!

Gondor's Modelling Rule Number Three: Everything will fit perfectly untill you apply glue...

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

Now come on Alastair, that's a REALLY silly idea!  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

That's what I started to do on the shortened fuselage Nimrod. I added the wing fuel tank to the stretched Nimrod. Cut the vertical tail to look like the Comet Mk4.
Then I came up with the idea of taking the wings off and adding the wings, engines, landing gear, vertical tail and rear radome from the Airfix Vulcan kit. Found two fishbowl windows to fit on the front fuselage. Looks like the photo of the "Far Vulcan* on the front of Chris Gibson ' Nimrod's Genesis '. Just need to add a few more Nimrod parts and underwing stores. Paint scheme hemp and white.
