It's looking really sharp, Ron.  Hopefully, you are as pleased with the developing results as we are.

Looking good.  You've done a good job capturing the look from the books.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

That just looks great! even if someone didn't know what it was, I think its so eye catching and attractive that everyone will want to see it up close.  Wow!

Not worth rushing Ron - given how much effort you put into building it, it deserves the paint being spot on.

So after another week of masking I carefully measured, marked, and painted the stripes on the intake /wing dealies

See what I did there

Your too far away to come punch.  Besides, now it has your own spin on it and if you don't pose it next to the picture, no one will notice.

I am so sorry. God I know how frustrating that can be  :banghead: Take a breath have a beer or nine and come back to it... or you could leave it as is, probably looks good still.

Nope, 'cos then I'd have to punch myself in the face so much I'd be more black and blue than your wings...

Given that what you've sprayed is blue over black, just spray it all black again: with luck, the original paint lines will still be visible and you can re-mask to those.

You might have better luck on Amazon.

The titles are:
Spacecraft 2000 to 2100AD
great space Battles
Space wreck, ghost ships and Derelicts of space.
Starliners. Commercial space travel in 2200AD.

all by Stewart Cowley.

Used bookstores are also a good place to look. Unfortunately, the later volumes tend to be a bit pricy these days.

On a lighter note, I've resumed work on the three masters mentioned elsewhere, and should have them on the
way before the end of February.
