SPLENDID!!!

If I were a little finnicky here, I'd say that the decal's transparency shows in-between the letters "USAF", but that might be the result of the flashlight. Otherwise it's a perfect job!!!

I think it really makes it look rather sleek and kinetic, almost as if it is doing a million miles an hour standing still

I totally agree with the above even if it's the builder saying so

Thats what I meant when I said the decals had "silvered", its caused by microscopic bubbles of air getting trapped under the decal, it happens sometimes, even with the greatest of care and the application (as in this case) of decal setting solutions such as Microsol.
I remember my dad cutting out the letters separately before applying the decals to avoid that sort of effect, but of course it's not an easy trick to do...

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Only just caught up with this - that's a lovely job Duncan: well done!

I must admit I am quite pleased with how this one has turned out, which makes the decal silvering issue an even bigger disappointment....  :banghead:

They used to sell a spray that turned glossy decals into matte finish. Can't remember the name now. Does this still exist?
