So cool.

Please, tell me are you speaking about the previous photo? or....

Tophe

At last we all found MANY models of twin-engined P-40. All of them have engines above the wing, hiding the fuselage and nose, so disgracious somehow EXCEPT Pablo's one which is a pure beauty, with full eye access to the new nose. That's my feeling about it anyhow ;)

Thanks Tophe, yesterday I fell in the similar appearance of my plane and the Dehavilland Comet DH88

Thanks for this explanation, luminous... (yes, the DH-88 is one of the most beautiful aircraft ever, that explains much) ;D

Pablo, your twin-engined P-40 is simply AMAZING! Perfect design and realisation, I'm thrilled to have discovered this thread!

And yes, it has some of that De Havilland Comet grace to it (other designs, including the "real" Curtiss mock-up look somewhat stubby). Well done, Sir!

Thanks Stargazer, I did not set imitate the DH88, in fact I discover his similarity recently.

I like!  And did something similar to a Spitfire a couple of years ago.
;D ;D

Please share that twinspit.
And thanks

Here it is.  More at http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,17698.msg249282.html#msg249282 and http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,17859.msg251509.html#msg251509.
Took another look at your P-40 twin and while it's a bit of a chunky monkey with the gear down the combination of the bulk and the forward pitch of the nacelles to me makes it look as though it should only ever, ever belong in the air - gear up means a powerful combination of grace and power.  Somebody mentioned the beautiful DH88 Comet earlier in this thread - I saw it flying on one occasion and again, that is a machine that is made to only ever be flying.

Wow! I save immediately this Twin-Engine Spitfire picture as I did with Pablo's Twin-Engine Warhawk...
I don't know why but the search tool did not find it when I looked for it last month, thanks for bringing it here with links! ;D

Really nice twin-spit. I think it would be great in 1940. Brilliant kit and well done.
