Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

good 8x8 apc -- just like the ones GTX (whoops, apologies) Rickshaw drew on this site not so long ago (see "Remember Eureka in the Alt. History).
suspect that modeller is lurking here somewhere -- who is it ?

Here's my drawing of the low-profile version on the Puma chassis that I posted

edited for the post below ...
you may as well all give up -- the truth is much stranger than fiction.

I'm not sick ... just a little unwell.

Wasn't GTX, it was me.   ;D

I'm wondering what all the extra grills on top of the pictured wheeled APC are for?  The Hummel/Nashorn version is interesting.  Again, the grill in the middle of the hull roof is a bit mysterious.  I'd have put a Sdkfz 222 low profile turret on it.  Its a good way of using excess AFV manufacturing capacity.  The Panzer III/IV hull used for the Hummel/Nashorn was designed for that (it utilised a lot of excess Panzer III components which had been left over after that vehicle ceased production).   The big, open rear fighting compartment lends itself to being used in that way.

I figured that, considering the "Remember Eureka" thread, y'all would enjoy these.
how about a few more then:

Those are nice.  I like the one with the Kugelblitz turret.

This one is interesting:

I like the hull modifications.  The sloping plates are well done (although they might have some difficulty servicing the transmission/brakes).  I don't think though, there is room in a Panzer IV turret for an 88mm KwK36.

Different!  I like the night vision gear that was coming online around the wars end, seems a natural for '46.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
