What-If you were crazy?
The Quicksilver in Memory of Eddie Aikau is on at Waimea Bay on the North Shore of Oahu.
It only happens if the waves are big enough, this year they are.
;D

If you've ever been at Waimea when it's running big, it's something that'll stick with you forever.

All surfers are crazy.  But in a good way.
Beaches on the East coast of Australia were closed today due to waves of up to 4m  caused by tropical cyclone Winston.
That's nothing compared to the one in the photo through.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Been lucky enough to have been there a couple of times when the surf was a tad big. As you say it is impressive  My favourite beach in the Islands is Sunset* and one year we had a bungalow about 1/2 a mile from it  ;D

* My favourite is one on one of the smaller Fijian Islands where we spent Christmas Day whilst cruising, gorgeous. Second is good old Brighton, stones and all, but that's because of the memory that goes with it

Have to be in house colours though  ;D My brother had his foot trodden on whilst dancing with his then fiancĂ© (she still insists he put his foot under her heel) and the heel went right through his foot   Lethal things

Hm, yes.

I've seen the result of some poor tealeaf who had designs on nicking the handbag of a girl was escorting one night in Manchester. She stonped on his foot with her heel (she was a BIG girl) and the tealeaf was pinned to the road screaming his head off while we called the cops. Apparently they'd been looking for this guy for some time and were chuffed to blazes that we'd got him.  ;D

Captain Canada

The shoe looks scary ! Wouldn't want to make her mad....

Love the Tie Tanker, neat idea there.

And that wave is just huge ! Hitting the deck after falling off of it must have hurt !

I love it, too. So simple, so effective - and the bright colors are great, too.

Spats would be a suitable addition, too?

That would make it a late model Cyclone.  ;)

Yup lovely USAAC Hurricane derivative. Martin did a USAAF one with a radial engine a few years back. Looked good in OD/Neutral Grey
