ROTFL!  ;D

I'm just imagining the size of such a carrier!!!!!!!  :o

Finsrin (Bill) over on the BTS forum built this Mega-Carrier:

Love it but the B-29s with folding wings. Well what can you say.

Heh - like it.

1/350th super-carrier hull with 1/700th details and aeroplanes, yes?

Absolutely
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I rather wonder about the catapult and how strong the attachment points on a B-29 must be to propel it into flight from a carrier deck?!  :o

Think this may be one of Dizzy's models being used by The National Interest on FB. They seem to think it's a Q-5 Fantan for some reason. https://nationalinterest.org/blog/reboot/chinese-q-5-fighter-plane-wont-quit-189950

Yup, i think I remember that one. It sure looks like Dizzy's work.

It seems this picture has no relation the the "true" Chinese Q-5
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanchang_Q-5
without ventral air intake (like F-16, not at all).
The Chinese J-10 looks more like a F-16 but it's a canard.
Here this seems a simple F-16 model, built with modified undercarriage, nice!

Yes, it is one of my builds, or better: an unlicensed picture of it, snatched from FlickR without notice or consent. At least they provided a link to the picture at the end of the page. But it makes absolutely NO sense for the article... Apparently another "expert" author, because the picture depicts a Q-6, the Q-5's stillborn successor, based on a MiG-23 "procured" from Egypt, IIRC.

With the crazy things happening these days, they are [maybe] rather talking of a previous crazy times when the Egyptians threw the Russians out, threatened to buy Chinese and were rapidly build up for the Yom Kippur War by the said Russians. Radar Fantan is the name, though still much like the ordinary A-5. Don't go around asking, you might be treated as a UFO nut by the average  China watcher.

Someone sent me this the other day:

Looks like an A-10 and a V-22 got friendly...
Maybe something they were thinking to use in an unfilmed episode of Firefly?
Or else someone has been playing around with an OV-10...

That's odd, I esp. do not understand the shoulder wings and the long pylons for what looks like engine pods? Heh?
