Found this beautiful model when surfing. It's obviously inspired by the Vanships from "Last Exile", but is IMHO much better and more stepping into the Maschinenkrieger world.

Do not speak Japanese, but the text says the model is in 1:20 (not like the Hasegawa Vanship in 1:72) and was made using (among all) an egg-plane.

THAT is pretty! And not so tiny as the 1:72 Vanship - which is beautiful, but SO small... Nice find!

Just stumbled across this sexy beast... the illegitimate offspring between a B-17 and a KC-135! Add some Chinese markings, and it would be perfect!

I "Built" it back in the mid-1950's . . .    It had LOTS of raised "detail" including where to put the decals . . .
