A BANGSHIP ;D!
Found this beautiful model when surfing. It's obviously inspired by the Vanships from "Last Exile", but is IMHO much better and more stepping into the Maschinenkrieger world.

Site with more photos is here.
Do not speak Japanese, but the text says the model is in 1:20 (not like the Hasegawa Vanship in 1:72) and was made using (among all) an egg-plane.

THAT is pretty! And not so tiny as the 1:72 Vanship - which is beautiful, but SO small... Nice find!

Just stumbled across this sexy beast... the illegitimate offspring between a B-17 and a KC-135! Add some Chinese markings, and it would be perfect!

Found here, far down the page: http://www.swannysmodels.com/B17G.html

That's one of Eddie's beauties ! Should be a complete thread on here as well.

I found this Zwilling-plane restaurant in my very home town (in the past, burnt now):

I took a ton of pics of that when we were there during the Nationals in 2012.

It has signatures all over it from people involved in the movies.

That's a lovely job!

Think the pods on the sides are made from one of these : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MAZINGER-Z-JET-PILEDER-Plastic-Model-Kit-NIB-Bandai-RARE-VHTF-/251448420693?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item3a8b7e6955
