Wow, major surgery. Just the Hs 293 missiles under the engine nacelles is IMHO not a clever solution...

thanks for the link - great camo

Wow!  That's very nicely done on his part.  Very creative and very well executed.

I do wonder one thing about any such "zwlling" creations.  Namely, wing area.

You're grafting two aircraft together and each has a certain amount of wing area set up for it to operate.  I'd think that if you did anything to reduce that wing area you'd be losing any advantage you gained in the joining.  Same same with powerplants.  Not adding any extra horsepower to the joining and reducing the overall wing area doesn't seem realistic.

In this case, I think the insert between the two wings should've been larger so as to make up for the lost portions and it should've had its own engine as well.

That said, his creation is damn impressive!

The "real" solution to the Ju 290 not having the range to bomb New York wasn't a zwilling but was to add more engines, wing fuselage & fuel and call it the Ju 390.
However, this is no place for reality and it is certainly an impressive build.  Must have a big display cabinet or lots of hanging space in the bedroom.

It's multi purpose, doubles as a hamster cage. I give credit to a certain Mr M McEvoy for that remark which I seem to remember was attributed to a 290Z a year or so ago
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Howard will be HORRIFIED!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I rather like that.....But will it fly?

It doesn't make sense, but it's pretty.
I wouldn't like to the the pilot having to bail out!  :banghead:
