Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

From wired.com, the Strange Forgotten Space Station Concepts that Never Flew.  Number 9, the inflatable station, ought to be an easy scale-o-rama with an Academy 1/288 orbiter and a 1/32 aircraft tire assembly. :wacko:

IIRC, there is an inflatable space station (or a subscale demonstrator) about.

EDIT: Ah, yes, it mentions it in the article - Bigelow Aerospace is the company involved.

But then again, it seems like Goodyear had inflatable EVERYTHING in the early 1960s...  ;D
