In a Disney Cars movie, I discovered the very first flying car with flapping wings...:
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Don't think this has been mentioned yet - some whif and fictional designs by students at the Feng Zhu School.

But don't ask me why it has a X-51 WaveRider on its backboard pylon.

Dear mods, if posted before, please delete this post.

Ok, is it just me or is that asking to get built?

The Japanese Lightning looks awesome !

Also a big fan of the water bomber....but it is odd that it's carrying that...and the wing tank looks out of place with the float there.

Still, very buildable !

The Seafortress engines need to be above the wing...

The water bomber is (literally) great! Lovely thing - but agree on the engine placement. Putting them on top of the wings would surely be a safer solution!

Found this one, accuidently: an RC Yak-23 in Bulgarian colors. Green suits her!

Does indeed. Nice enough already but with that change
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The X-51 Firekiller is a well known tool of the water bomber fleet. When they have to tackle a really bad fire this is fired ahead to clear a path for the slower waterbomber following behind. The chemical composition of the fire retardant used is still a highly guarded secret of the Coulson corporation.

Dizzy, is this a PSS, or an EDF model do you know?

A BANGSHIP ;D!
Found this beautiful model when surfing. It's obviously inspired by the Vanships from "Last Exile", but is IMHO much better and more stepping into the Maschinenkrieger world.

Site with more photos is here.
Do not speak Japanese, but the text says the model is in 1:20 (not like the Hasegawa Vanship in 1:72) and was made using (among all) an egg-plane.

No idea, sorry. I even do not know what you mean...?  :-\
