...or this? Looks as if a Spitfire had been bolted on top of the flying boat?

Well, and then this one...  ;)

That's pretty much what they did do too.

There's a good vacform available of the Seagull from Whirlykits, one of which I have in The Loft.

I find her inspiring, too. Already have been watching out for a Walrus, a Spitfire and a big screw to combine them...
Would be smaller, but I really like the look of this thing.

Olimp do the Seagull as a reain kit if you want one, but if inspired to do something similar try looking for a Sea Otter as that followed the Walrus and had a puller prop.

It occurs to me that's the first pic I've seen of the Seagull with the wings folded, very interesting way of doing it, and they still left the tip floats attached.

Various Whiffing ideas are coming to mind, other than the intended ASR task that they built it for. Most have longer wings naturally.....  ;D

I can't help feeling that if Thomas is intending to combine a Spitfire and a Walrus he won't care too much which way the original radial was pointing.  ;D

No, not at all! Size of a Walrus won't match with the Seagull, too, but a whiffy flying boat with high wings (Do 18 style)... why not? I can already envision RNZAF markings on that hybrid.

And it's gorgeous
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Not a bad price either - Hannants is £38, so cheaper in the Ukraine by a fair old sum. But postage and possible Customs duty to be added I suppose.

I got mine from Hannants when it first came out and it will get built in a SEAC scheme eventually

How about a Brazilian Navy F-18?
