Reverse Spit is a boatplane too.  Bravo.

beautifully and inventively so, indeed

On a side note, the recent Haobby Japan issue feautures a boatplane Shinden of very similar layout, together with a starting ramp, in the "NEws" section. Only thing that worries me is the exposure of the prop to water spray, otherwise it's REALLY lovely, great work.

Site for a modeller / artist named Daniel Rolph. The picture below is the one I came across and it's his most obvious whif, but there are others amongst his general concept art.

Edit: just found Tumblr site as well - rougher, sometimes unfinished designs.

 Thanks to have extracted this nice twin-boomer. I have not found it, even exploring all the pages of 2013 from this site, is it older?

Yes, it's back to 2011 - I found it via Google first and linked back to the site:

I've found him on deviantart as well; the pictures are probably more accessible there:

Thanks a lot: I found what I was searching for (this is an imaginary WW2 airplane, not later design). And I found two other twin-boom warbirds, thanks again!

Hmm, I just wonder where the landing gear is supposed to go? Will it be a tricycle layout? But there's the big gun in the way...? Or a classic tail-sitter? With two tail wheels? Does not seem so, due to the fins under the booms?

Offset nose wheel, A-10 style?

I do like the design that is a cross between Me410 and a P38
