Bought a Hobby Boss Do.335 earlier today and while looking for pics, found this heavily re-worked and nearly finished version from a Polish site:

One of the finest examples I've ever seen of how to take something truly hideous and create something so beautiful. This is on my to-do list .

The link below is to a youtube video of game reviewer NERD3 ("nerd-cubed") slagging off an utterly dreadful airport simulator game. Quite apart from the fact that it's highly amusing, it also has some very whiffy transport planes, seemingly with random collections of engines, in the first five minutes or so.

NERD3 strikes again, with an interesting-looking program called Kerbal Space Program - Space Plane that lets you try your hand at designing and flying a spaceplane. Unfortunately, Dan is slightly handicapped by almost but quite complete ignorance of both aeroplane and spacecraft design, but stick with it. You may lose count of the number of times your scream "PITCH CONTROL!!!!" at the screen, but he does eventually produce something flyable. Unfortunately, it's getting no nearer to space than an Me-163, with which it shares some other unfortunate tendencies.

It looks like there's a whole series of these Kerbal Space Program games that may well be of interest to folks on here.

Ha! So if a pair of contra rotating rotors are good does that make 3 better?   
at least just out of shot appears to be the tail rotor needed to counter the torque of that extra main rotor...

I guess in whifworld it makes sense.
