Really nice!

The world needs more three-engined whifs, though.  Might be a cool idea to build another one like this, but keeping the original pusher prop as well.
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Captain Canada

Nice one. Looks rather heavy and slow tho.....

Don't let ageing get you down, it's too hard to get back up

Quote from: NARSES2 on July 10, 2015, 06:10:40 AMI once read that Ryan Air actually considered allowing standing ? Now I always thought that was a Red Top "silly season special" but have never seen anything definitive either way   Perhaps "our" man at the CAA knows ?

I think Aeroflot used to sell standing tickets, complete with hanging straps to hold on to. I've read of people standing through their flights before.

Found this brilliant SAR Samson SA-2 here : http://www.cbfsim.co.uk/cbfs_bb/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=20853&start=10

Looks like an update of Zenrat's 'Eye in the Sky'

One commenter doesn't seem to QUITE understand how helicopters work though.......
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Stumbled across this scaled-down, virtual Tu-22... Sweet - a shame that there's no 1:144 scale kit of it!

Captain Canada

That is pretty sweet....takes a second to figure it out !

I found a kind of TriAtlas there
http://www.haju68.comoj.com/D-AM.html

With no access to the rear door (impossible to open)? :-\ ;D
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

NARSES2

Maybe the middle boom splits and lifts when the door is raised ? daft I know but I suppose the whole rear end could pivot to the left or right to allow access ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Captain Canada

That just weird, like the guy drawing it screwed up !

Thanks for your "approval" on the TriAtlas, both of you, and I imagined TriLightnings, so (while I prefer 2 booms at last) ;D

Captain Canada

Again it's the middle one ! Three engines ? Superb.
