Just because it looks like some one stepped on its nose and kicked it in the butt?

As I said in the "ARC" thread: Opinions may vary.

I like it but I, still, prefer the original F-4 gunslingers. ;D

Comparing F-4's to other aircraft is similar to comparing American Pit-Bull Terriers or Rottweilers to Poodles or Corgis - they're just not in the same league.

Big, brutish, tough & mean.

My buddy Neil is 6 foot tall. You'd probably need a Spey engine gun-nosed Phantom for his dog Carl !

PS: I have yet to find any "mean" big dog that wasn't made that way by a Richard Cranium owner, generally I've found them all to be gentle giants.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yup again.

When I did my paper round (in the late 50's/early 60's) the meanest of all was a Miniature Poodle. I eventually got my own back  The most delightfull dog on the round was a huge Newfoundland. Still have very fond memories of him

Go on then, tell us how?  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Couldn't agree more Wombat. I've yet to find any dog, big or small that wasn't made that way by the owner in some way and I grew up around all sorts. Big, small, pure breeds and bitzers.

Well needs to say this little terror used to yap and snap around my heels and give me the odd nip even. Now in fairness to it's owner she tried to control it but failed miserably. In the end she tried to ensure the thing was locked away when I arrived at about 6:30. The flippin' thing still went ballistic and tried to get through the glass door at me  :banghead: It also invariably grabbed the paper as I put it through the letter box, which was one of those low down ones. Anyway one day I'd had enough so instead of fighting the little so and so I let it grab the paper and pull it. Once it thought it had achieved victory, I felt the paper relax a bit, I gave one almighty heave on the other end and almost pulled the paper and dog back through the letter box ! Dog hit door with an almighty thump which was followed by a loud yelp and then silence   It had knocked it'self out. Anyway the owner came to the door to see what the noise was about and she screamed as well. Anyway the dog soon recovered and it's owner carried it off cooing over it like a baby. Her husband came to the door and I thought "at best I'm sacked, at worst he'll thump me", remember this is probably 1963. Instead he gave me a wink and a 5 bob tip   Obviously hated the thing as well  ;D

That dog never bothered me again, indeed it was the only dog that ever really bothered me, always got on well with everyone I've met including a couple of security dogs that you weren't meant to, but that again is another story  ;D
