Long Live the Commonwealth !!!
Vive les Canadiens !

I managed to clean up the Sabredog pic a bit:

It seems to me that the triple-engined Bf-119 would be more at home wearing Italian insignia ...  :)
Thistle dew, Pig - thistle dew!

Where am I going?  And why am I in a handbasket?

But it's cool, too. I like the added third (Fw 190) fin, very consequential interpretation of the topic.

Would be marching to the beat of his own drum, if he didn't detest marching to any drumbeat at all so much.

I like that.  Still recognisably an F-5, but made to look evil.

Very nice!  I think if I were doing that, I'd make the intakes larger - more Foxbat-like.  :)

1945 ? That surprises me. If asked I would have said early 1950's for that.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Came across this neat B-66 with four S-3 engine nacelles.

Just a pity he didn't hang an Exocet under the fuselage instead of R-77s on the wings; it would have fitted Top Gun perfectly!

I think there are a lot of older jets that look good with two or four modern turbofans mounted.

Is good.
Now to find a supply of cheap Vikings to part out.
