Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Why the heck would it need snow chains ? they'd have to be a big as ship anchor chains, who's going to put those on ? and how ?

In any case, the chains would be a waste of time considering the depth of the 'paddles' the tires have, the idea of chains is to go on the outside of the tire tread
