How does the pilot see anything?

That's why the Tri-Stang had the pilots on the OUTside!  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

P38 inspired Spitfire build on FB.

Now there's a concept!
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

I was tempted  to buy one of those kits a few years ago,  as they look very Russian in a mil mi hind kind of way.

It seems this is not a kit but a model that is already built, to be painted:

It is a kit Tophe.  But as it's a Games Workshop kit it's an expensive one.
If you scroll down you can see the parts on the sprues.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Hell, I like it!   Could use a wee bit of refinement but I bet you I couldn't have done it this nice.  ;D

Maybe because the cockpit could be from a Macchi 202?
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

I like it too, just the relative position of the main landing gear looks goofy (to me), very far forward for a tricycle arrangement.  :o

Yup, but it also reminds me of a modified Caproni Campini in some ways. Perhaps an in-service version ?
