The Car SIG at Telford had a complete display of customised 2CVs in 1/24. Somewhere I have a pic or two of the best ones.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Call me nitpicky, but I can see some problems with this layout...

Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

The Wooksta!

I can heartily recommend it, although the price is a tad steep.  It's unlikely to get a reprint* as I've a feeling that John Baxter may have passed away.

*Then again, if the CDs with all the production work are still viable AND more importantly, I can find them in me Mam's loft, then a reprint of the internals is fine - I had nothing to do with the cover.

Weirdly I had my copy right next to me when I clicked into this thread, admiring the Rotodyne Mk2 on the inside of the cover which appears to have a stretched body

I can add my recommendations to that as well
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Unexpectedly found one of my pictures in Argentina - it actually depicts a whiffy Bulgarian Kfir,  but was heavily modified (and, of course, used without asking for any permission):

Here's the original:

They certainly screwed around with your pic quite a bit, in an attempt to throw you off the scent maybe?  :o
